Not Ready to Go Back to the Gym yet? We’ve Got You Covered.
Written by Eden
COVID 19 truly took the world by storm and changed the way in which we live our everyday life. Masks have become the latest accessory, it feels rebellious to not use hand sanitizer throughout the day, and kissing people hello seems a distant etiquette. Restaurants and workplaces have reopened, as have some schools and colleges, but here in Puerto Vallarta, it still feels a little unsafe to some to return to our normal lifestyle with the number of COVID cases still on the rise and hospitals working at capacity.
Another establishment that has reopened its doors are gyms and places of fitness. Fitness is an important part of many people’s daily routine. It helps you stay psychically and mentally well, boosts self-esteem and confidence, and can give you killer abs and that plump behind! It’s been difficult for many people to adapt to the new routine of not being able to go to the gym or workout. And now, although gyms have reopened, a lot of people are still skeptical and hesitant about attending because they still want to practice social distancing as much as possible until the virus is gone once and for all.
If you are in the above category, do not worry! You can still achieve an awesome workout at home, maintaining the same level of fitness and skill that you had before. You have to be open-minded and get creative with furniture and utilities around your home! Who needs a workout bench to rest your foot on while doing one-legged squats when you have a sofa or chair to use?
Below we have listed some free and awesome home workout apps that you can download! Each app will help guide and coach you through your home workout journey until you’re ready to go back to the gym or place of fitness.
